Welcome to The Choreminder and more

Hello, My name is Amber. Thank you for coming to our site. I am the creator of the Choreminder.

It all began over 10 years ago.
My children at that time were 5,6, and 7. I needed something in our home that would make life easier for all of us. I was nagging from the time my children woke up until the time they went to bed. Of course this was not intentional. It just worked that way because I did not realize that each child had to be taught differently depending on the way they learned.

Some children love order and it is easier for them to stay on task.

Some have difficulty staying on task and do not mind a little chaos.

Some are social butterflies and want to visit all day.

My three each fell into one of these categories.

Of course my desire was to be the best Mom ever; I came up with the Choreminder. We sat down at the table with our crayons and construction paper . I still remember Ricky making his chore cards and singing ‘I’m a little teapot’. We taped our finished products on the fridge. The next morning I did not say a thing. I watched in amazement as each child went to their Choreminder and did exactly what their little hand made cards said to do.

It worked so well that other moms in our community wanted me to make them one. We designed lots and lots of cards. Covering the areas of Family Duties, School, Themselves and Their Rooms.

We even went to classrooms and each child got to make their own Choreminder. The results were so great that I was encouraged by other moms to find a designer and professionally manufacture the chore minder.

I love the chore cards; today they have a nice graphic for the children who do not yet read and also the word to build reading skills. The board is sturdy with a base and will sit nicely on your counter, or you can attach chore board to your refrigerator with the magnets we provide. (I recommend this, children love to be acknowledged and this is a nice central location where you can see and recognize their accomplishments.)

Again thank you for visiting our site. Be the best parents that you can be!!!! Remember clear expectations equals success. Have fun as you train your children to be responsible for themselves, their rooms, family duties and school work. Let the Choreminder work for you. Don’t forget recognition and lots of hugs.
Thank you and God Bless You and your Family.
